KTS has developed a wide range of Fair Trade products that combine the culture and heritage of Nepal with the modern world in which we now live. Working with in-house and buyers’ designers, KTS is always striving to improve the quality and style of its products. Using only the best quality materials and dyes, the range of products shows the craftsmanship skills for which Nepal is renowned.

KTS has been committed to the practices of Fair Trade since becoming a founder member of Fair Trade Group Nepal in 1993. The founding principles of KTS have remained unchanged since its inception over 25 years ago. Equal opportunities should exist for all people and the underprivileged should have access to education, decent living standards and a sustainable livelihood.

KTS practices Fair Trade principles through its direct partnerships with its buyers and its producers. KTS ensures that its producers receive a fair price for the products, that they have a direct involvement with the buyers through meetings and feedback sessions, and KTS upholds environmental and labour rights standards.
