MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Ms. Docey Lewis from Design Bank 505, USA gave new idea to develop innovative marketable products
from left over materials. KTS’s senior staffs worked with her and learnt the new idea and technique.
KTS design and quality control staffs attended marketing planning and design workshop. The facilitators Ms. Vina Domingo, design consultant and Ms. Carina P. Bautisla, marketing consultant were from the AFTF through Fair Trade Group Nepal.
School member secretary and director attended radio interaction in women programme in “Radio
Sagarmatha”
Management and knitwear department have moved to the school’s new building in June.
School arranged for the Primary school students to sing and record a World Fair Trade Song with a traditional Nepali Musical instrument for WFTO.

School Member Secretary and Director Kiran Bahadur Khadgi attended biannual social review of Fair Trade Company Japan/ People Tree UK in Japan. He also visited USA for market exposure on an invitation of SERRV Self Help International, USA. At the same time he visited Global Girlfriend, World Find and some Ten Thousand Villages shops in the US. On the tour he also joined the radio talk programme on ‘Fair Trade and its impact’ aired by Community Radio, Madison.

Mr. Satyendra Khadgi from Kumbeshwar Trading Centre is continuously helping to develop new carpet designs and photographing the school’s activities on voluntary basis.
